The color of the 2009 Sauvignon Blanc is pale yellow, with green reflections. The aroma has a well-integrated array of tropical fruit, spice, slightly herbal notes and grapefruit. The flavors are bright and fresh, and reminiscent of the aromas. There is a refreshing crispness and clean, lingering finish. Valentin Bianchi's Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from Las Paredes Estate, which is situated in the District Las Paredes, San Rafael, Mendoza at 750 meters above sea level. The soil is sandy calcareous of alluvial origins. The grapes were hand-picked and the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures after 16 hours of cold stirring.
